Drop a Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Excel or text file, or paste text. The file is opened by your browser; nothing is sent.

Choose the rule
Pick how matches are replaced: labels such as “Person 1 / Company A”, redaction, realistic fake values or masking. Add your own words, and switch on optional smart detection.

Review what will change
Names, companies, emails, phone numbers, IDs and IBANs are listed with their replacements. Switch items on or off, edit a replacement, add words that were missed.

Download and use
Get the same file back with formatting intact, plus a Markdown version ready to paste into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and a mapping table to reverse the answer later.
Verify it yourself
- Open your browser’s developer tools (F12) and select the Network tab.
- Upload a document and anonymize it.
- Watch the list: no request carries your file. Then turn off Wi‑Fi and do it again.
What it finds
Three layers of detection, all local
Patterns and checksums
Emails, phone numbers, IBANs, card numbers, Turkish national IDs and tax numbers, URLs, IP addresses, license plates and address hints. Deterministic, validated with checksums where they exist.
Your dictionary
Words you always want replaced, e.g. Bosch → Company A. Whole-word, case-insensitive, Turkish suffixes preserved. Saved only in this browser.
Smart detection (optional)
A small AI model that spots names, companies and places. It runs in your browser too: a one-time download, then offline. You decide whether to use it.
Formats
Same format back, plus Markdown
Word, PowerPoint and Excel are edited in place: styles, headers, comments and tables stay. PDFs come back as Word + Markdown.

Turn the answer back into real names
Every run produces a mapping table (Person 1 → Göktuğ Yurt). Paste the AI’s answer into the de-anonymizer with that table and the original names come back. The table never leaves your device either.

Frequently asked
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The site has no upload endpoint. Your browser opens the file, finds sensitive data and writes the anonymized copy, all on your device. You can verify this in the browser’s Network tab or by turning off Wi‑Fi.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After the first visit the app is cached by your browser. Pattern and dictionary detection are fully offline. The optional smart-detection model needs a one-time download and is then cached too.
Will my Word document keep its formatting?
Yes. DOCX, PPTX and XLSX files are edited in place at the XML level: styles, headers and footers, comments, tables and images stay exactly as they were. Only the matched text changes.
What happens to PDFs?
Text is extracted from the PDF and returned as an anonymized Word document plus Markdown. Scanned PDFs without a text layer are not supported yet.
Is the detection perfect?
No tool is. Patterns with checksums (IBAN, national ID, card numbers) are exact; names and companies rely on your dictionary or the optional model. That is why you always see a review list before anything changes.
Can I get the original names back?
Yes. Download the mapping table with your file, then use the de-anonymizer to restore the AI’s answer. Keep the table private.
Do you use cookies or track me?
No cookies. We count page views with a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics script that never sees your documents. Your dictionary and preferences are stored only in your browser.
