1. Who provides the service
Unformation (unformation.app) is provided by Göktuğ Yurt, an individual, as a free, non-commercial project. By using the site you accept these terms.
2. What the service is
A web application that detects and replaces personal data in documents. All processing happens in your browser. We do not receive, store or transmit your documents.
3. Provided “as is”
The service is provided free of charge, as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.
4. No warranty of complete anonymization
Detection is automated and can miss items or flag the wrong ones. You are responsible for reviewing the list and the output before sharing a document with anyone, including AI providers, and for meeting any legal or contractual confidentiality duties that apply to you. The mapping table can reverse the anonymization; keep it secure.
5. Acceptable use
Use the service only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the hosting infrastructure, and do not use the site to process documents you have no right to process.
6. Intellectual property
The website's design, text and code belong to their author unless otherwise stated. Your documents remain yours; we claim no rights in them and never receive them. Third-party components (for example the optional models on the Hugging Face Hub) are governed by their own licences.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data or profits, or damages arising from missed detections, incorrect output or reliance on the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Changes and availability
Features may change and the service may be paused or discontinued at any time. Material changes to these terms are noted in the changelog with a new date.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Where permitted, the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
