De-anonymizer
Restore the original names in an AI answer
Paste the answer on the left, drop or paste the mapping table on the right, and every Person 1 and Company A turns back into the original value. This runs in your browser; the mapping never leaves your device.
Mapping file
Drop mapping.csv or mapping.json here
Drop the CSV/JSON mapping you downloaded, or paste it.
Paste both the answer and the mapping to continue.
How it works
The mapping table is the key
You downloaded it when you anonymized
Every run produces a mapping table (CSV or JSON) with the original value, its replacement, the category and how often it occurred.
Longest replacement first
Labels are replaced longest first, so Person 12 is restored before Person 1 and nothing is half-replaced.
Nothing is stored
The answer and the mapping are processed in memory in your browser tab. Close the tab and they are gone.
Questions
Questions about restoring names
Where do I get the mapping file?
It is offered for download after every anonymization run, next to the anonymized file, as CSV and JSON. If you skipped it, run the anonymization again on the same file with the same options.
What if the AI changed a label, for example Person One?
Only exact matches are restored. Edit the label in the answer to match the mapping, or add a row to the mapping with the variant.
Does the mapping or the answer leave my device?
No. Both are read and processed in your browser; there are 0 network requests. Nothing is saved.
Can I restore names in a Word file?
This page works on text. Paste the text of the answer here, or paste the restored text back into your document.
